Unwavering faith produces wisdom

. James, that old prayer warrior pastor of the first church of Jerusalem so tradition or church history or both tell us, was asking God for wisdom one day and God said something like, "James, if you want wisdom, you will find it on your knees." (It was said of James that his knees were like camels knees, he spent so much time on them) James said it like this, " If any of you lack wisdom , let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him." So wisdom comes by asking God, whether you are on your knees or sitting down or standing, it doesn't matter but what does matter is faith, faith is the key. The write of Hebrews said "without faith it is impossible to please God," in fact he says that he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him." James carries it a step further and says. "But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts, is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind for let not that man think that he will reeive anything from the Lord.. A double-minded man is unstable in all his ways. God has promised us wisdom....in the time of trouble, and as we shall see a little later, in the time of temptation also. There is no reason to be fretfting and worrying and wondering if God will answer. He will, if we ask in unwavering faith. Peter writes concerning the trial of your faitt.h..that it is much more precious than gold that perishes.
